St. Aidan's Day Nursery is a well-established, non-profit making registered charity. We are consistently rated as outstanding by Ofsted for our childcare and we pride ourselves as being known as the 'Rolls Royce' nursery in the Carlisle area..St Aidan's Day Nursery cares for 43 children with ages ranging from 3 month old babies to 5 years. The nursery is open from 08.00am till 6.00pm, 5 days a week 51 weeks of the year (except bank holidays).

The Nursery is managed by Mrs Elma DayFees include all freshly prepared hot nutritious meals and snacks, baby formula milk, nappies and swimming lessons for children over 3.5 years old (fee payable if education grant only).The nursery is a large welcoming building with its own grounds, compromising a large safe secure outdoor area for children, offering a private car park for parents to 'drop off' and 'collect' their children. The nursery is set back from the main road and is city central, we are also members of the National Day Nurseries Association NDNA.

St. Aidan's Day Nursery prides itself on the large team of 'fully qualified staff', who are totally committed to childcare, highly passionate, dedicated and extremely hardworking. All staff have the same aim of ensuring we all deliver high-quality childcare to each individual child and their family. Staff are highly motivated, experienced and trained with the new EYFS early Years Foundation Stage. They hold first aid qualifications and are CRB checked since safeguarding is paramount within the training they receive and has been endorsed by Ofsted.
