“Let all guests be received like Christ, who will say, I came as a guest and you welcomed me”.
Our community strives to follow this precept given by St Benedict to his monks and make this ancient building a place of welcome, hospitality and sanctuary to all who live, work or visit the City of Lincoln.
We don’t manage it all the time and so we try again by;
Gathering as a community which welcomes and celebrates human diversity including spirituality, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation.
Seeking to create a space where people of any faith, or none, can question and discover the sacred life through openness, struggle, laughter and prayer.
Working for a common commitment to be in solidarity with the poor and marginalised and to cherish creation.

Caroline Boltz5 StarThe oldest place of continuous Christian worship in Lincoln. A truly beautiful building and continuing to be used for beautiful crafting, charity working for people with mental health issues, Wednesday 1.00 Eucharist, campanologists meeting regularly, monthly Craft fair. All Covid safe.Tuesday 10th August 2021
jamichi15 StarI would echo the previous positive reviews. This is a well-kept church that is worth visiting. Apart from being a quiet place to reflect, pray and think, in a busy area, it is supported by people who respect you as a person no matter who you are or what you wear. It is also a venue for a number of community events that are worth visiting.Wednesday 28th April 2021
Anderson Peters5 StarFantastic church that provides great community support. Has a drop in coffee shop run by volunteers to support a variety of local charities and a small but very well equipped community hall that enables many community activities such as the RBL branch coffee mornings each Wednesday. Conveniently located next to the Train Station, Bus Station and Central Car Park, on the junction of St Mary's Street and High Street it makes a good central meeting point for groups with a widely dispersed membership. Worth popping in for a look round and a coffee during a shopping trip in town - you'll be sure of a warm welcome...Friday 18th January 2019
