Brian Alford5 StarExcellent Hall for Public & Community meetings. Reasonable fees. Well decorated, clean & tidy, plus toilet. Good lighting plus kitchen facilities. Very convenient Venue near the City Centre - no Parking - WALK, BUS, or CYCLE Best choices, off-road car parks are nearby, if no other option!# Problem with acoustics due to the length of the Hall, hard reflective surfaces, & exposed roof beams, which Speakers need to consider - otherwise voices become MUFFLED, DISTORTED & UNCLEAR to audiences, thereby losing their attention & interest!# Speakers need to learn Public Speaking Techniques for such events (speak slower, raise voice, & ENUNCIATE CLEARLY!). Consider using a simple microphone & speakers would be a good idea also. Choose Speakers with good clear strong voices! (Personal Experience).Wednesday 9th January 2019
