Visitors can expect stalls full of seasonal treats and gifts on offer, regional produce, plenty of stocking fillers and hot food and drink. Terms of Booking: All fees for excursions must be paid, in full, prior to the day of travel. Payments can be made by debit card only, or cash/ cheque payments to the office. Seating Arrangements: Seat numbers will be allocated through the booking process and given to you on the day of the excursion by the driver. Any requests for specific seating arrangements will be considered but may not always be possible. Toilets: There can be no guarantee made to the customer that the coach that they will travel on will have a toilet facility on board. The allocation of coaches may be subject to change and cannot be guaranteed at the time of booking. Mobility Scooters/ Wheelchairs: Due to insurance and Health and Safety implications we are no longer able to carry full-sized or large mobility scooters. However, we are still able to carry small scooters (i.e. that are easily lifted and would ft into a car boot) and / or folding wheelchairs. The company cannot accept the responsibility for any damage or loss of these items when being loaded, unloaded or carried to the coach. Excursion Cancellation: Station Coaches reserve the right to cancel any excursion due to a minimum passenger number requirement not being reached or any other unforeseen circumstance. Passengers will be contacted and advised either by telephone or email, in advance where possible, should any situation arise. Full refunds or transfers to another excursion are possible should any of the above occur. Any cancellations, by the customer, for an excursion will be considered on a case by case basis, and it will be down to the company’s discretion as to whether a refund or transfer to another trip is given. Health, Safety and Hygiene Conditions of Travel For the health and safety of all our passengers, please note the following: Seat Belts: It is a condition of travel that when passengers are seated, and the coach is in motion, they must wear the seat belt that is provided. Failure to do so can result in serious injury to yourself and others should an accident occur. Your driver will advise you of this requirement at the start of the journey. Children: The parent/ guardian/ supervisor are/is responsible for their children’s behaviour and actions. Health and safety conditions must be adhered to at all times and it is the responsibility of the parent/ guardian/ supervisor to ensure that each child is well behaved and complies with the listed conditions. Emergency Doors: There are access and emergency doors at the front, middle and rear of all of our coaches. The driver will advise you of the emergency procedures via a commentary over the microphone before the journey commences. Smoking: For the health, safety and comfort of all of our passengers, including the driver, smoking is not permitted on any of our vehicles at any time. This also includes the use of E-cigarettes and other alternatives. Hygiene: For the health, safety, comfort and wellbeing of our passengers, our coaches are presented in a clean and hygienic condition. At the end of the coach journey, we ask that you ensure that this is how you leave the bus; placing any discarded papers, packaging and items in the provided bin liners or taking them off the coach with you. Food: Pre-prepared sandwiches and hot drinks flasks may be used on the coach. However, fast food items, fish and chips, ice-creams and other such items are not permitted. Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages such as beers, wines and spirits are not permitted to be consumed on any of the coaches. Any passenger arriving in an alcoholic state may be refused permission to travel at the discretion of the driver, with no re-dress. Damage and Vandalism: Any damage or vandalism to any part of the coach will result in legal action against the culprit/ person responsible. Again, any such offence will result in the offender being asked to leave the vehicle at the discretion of the driver, with no re-dress. Courtesy: Drivers will be courteous and sympathetic to all clients. Verbal and/or physical abuse, disruption, rowdiness and misbehaviour that may affect the driver, other passengers and/or safe operation of the coach will result in the culprit being asked to leave the coach, at the discretion of the driver, with no re-dress.
