Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise

From time to time SVE has been approached by external organisations who wish to donate resources to voluntary organisations in need. The organisations are hoping that their donations will assist local good causes to achieve their mission and goals, that also align with their company’s ethics and business area. The potential donations may be of time, equipment, money or skills in business. The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for Adults has so far distributed £36 million to grassroots community initiatives in Scotland. A further £15 million was announced for year 3 building on the focus on wellbeing and prevention in the Transition and Recovery Plan As a Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our charity's strategic direction and good governance. You will ensure accountability to our members, our funders, the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR), Companies House and the public. Collaborating closely with our dedicated staff team you will represent SVE at events, build partnerships, and contribute to our impactful initiatives.

Unfortunately a very poor experience categorised by a lack of professionalism and incivility. This is very sad as previous interactions had been excellent for a number of years.
