Everything £3 or under

For families on a budget, find our selected shops with rails jam-packed with fashion and household items all at £3 or less, excluding furniture. They’re the perfect place to pick up second-hand play clothes for children, wardrobe staples and winter layers, or an extra holiday ensemble - all on a shoestring. End-of-season stock from high-end brands is also included, giving you a last chance to seek out an amazing one-off item.

So if you’re down to your last few coins, shop smart at Sue Ryder. Dress your family for £10, or add variety to your own wardrobe for half that amount. With low prices and quick purchases, new items are put out daily. Everything goes towards providing palliative, neurological and bereavement support, so it really is guilt-free shopping.

Great location

Our Sue Ryder shop is set in the heart of a diverse community on Coatsworth Road, Gateshead. Just a short walk from the thriving town centre and close to the bus stops, we offer a warm welcome to all our customers and aim to cater for all needs.

We carry a lovely range in donated goods and have a generous sized children’s department. For the bookworms out there a large selection of books can be found in store alongside a full media section.

Our shop was lucky enough to be used as a film location in 2015 for a short film called The Guitar written by Gabbie Asher. One of the stars of the film was local actress Charlie Hardwick who portrayed the part of shop manager.

Love this Charity shop. It is made very special by the kindest, lovely staff. Dawn and her team work very hard keeping the shop well stocked with a great range of items. Nothing is over £3 and the stock is great quality and has many different things every day. It’s safe to say that we can’t stay away!! The warm welcome that Dawn and the girls give you is worth that alone - not forgetting Colin the door man he does an amazing job keeping us all Covid safe! Thank you all for your hard work.
