Enjoyed a birthday meal with hubby and eldest son. Lovely staff, great service,lovely food. Really enjoyed the sticky toffee bourbon pudding 🍮 certainly packed a punch.

Popped in on Saturday with my chap. Food was good although my food was on the luke warm side which slightly let the meal down. But had a nice surprise yesterday when we got a phone call to say we had won a bottle of Prosecco after buying some charity raffle tickets just before our food came out. Overall staff were friendly and attentive.

Had a family meal felt rushed , not a friendly service. Haven't finished eating waitress came over started taking plates away then asking me if ive finished. Thought it was quite rude while I'm still eating. Me and my family was hoping to have a relaxing meal and enjoy meeting up. It was last Sunday arrived there before 6pm being told have to order before 6.30pm . The place was quite can understand why not friendly staff apart from one guy when we ordered drinks . No hurry to go back there shame really the food was good.

I just popped in for food en route back to tge ferry and Ireland, and just loved this place. I wasn't sure what kind of cider I wanted and the chap behind the bar insisted I try a small sample before deciding. The food I had was great, perfectly grilled chicken on skewers with corn and salad, and I had more than enough. I found the calorie counters very useful when ordering too. Stacey's service was both really pleasant and efficient. I thought the Talbot Inn was a great value place to eat, with a lovely bright ambience.

Had a lovely lunch here with my family. Didnt have to wait long for food which was really nice and was met by lovely staff esp the lovely Stacey. She went above and beyond to make our time more lovely. Will definitely be returning.
