A proud history,An exciting future
The Tasker family history in Accrington goes back many years and the name remains an institution in the town to this day.
Celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2021, Taskers has recently seen a major refurbishment of it's landmark Accrington brick built former mill premises on Queens Road.
Offering perhaps the most exciting home furnishing shopping experience in the north west, the newly refurbished showroom includes themed displays and room sets showcasing lounge and dining furniture, an expanded bedroom furniture studio and brand new lighting and home accessories departments.

Anthony Bryan1 StarBe warned, Taskers after sales service is the worst I have come across "ever". Apart from the blatant lies (of which I have proof) and not returning calls, emails, it seems the only way to get them to listen is to visit the shop and aire my grievances which is my next stepWednesday 8th June 2022
John Lancaster4 StarHuge store full of furniture for every room - laid out in sections to make things easy to find. There is also a large carpet and flooring section, and although some of the furniture can be on the expensive side carpet and flooring prices are very competitive. In recent years we have purchased a few carpets from them and the quality of fitting is always top class.
Staff in the store are always very friendly and we have found that we have been left to browse and ask for help when we needed it.
Parking is awkward by the main entrance but there is a larger carpark round the back of the building. There is a wheelchair ramp up to the main entrance which is accessible and generally there is plenty of room to manoeuvre down the aisles inside - only the bedroom section being separated by a step which could cause problems for some.Wednesday 9th February 2022
