Dave Gardner’s bespoke lessons utilise proven methods, allowing complete focus on your ambitions; they harness a number of techniques for developing the skills you need to achieve your goals.
Patient professional instruction empathetic to the needs of the student is a must. Students, in our experience, differ greatly in their needs.
From rhythm to finger style, lead to slide or folk to renaissance. You will be taught the right way to realise your goals, whatever the genre or style.
Even the most experienced guitarist will tell you they are still learning. The key to learning is patience, practice and sound instruction as well as goals and intermediary objectives.

J B5 StarDave is an incredible guitar teacher and the vast range of materials and musical knowledge that he has is unbelievable. He tailors each lesson to you and teaches you how to play the style of music that you want to learn. Every lesson is thoroughly enjoyable and I look forward to it each week.

Owen Owen5 StarDave is a great guitar teacher, he develops skills using music matched to your interests whether you like blues, rock, pop etc. He caters to all levels of skill from beginner to advanced, if your interested he also will put you in for exams. He's a teacher who will go the extra mile for each pupil not only improving your skill but also widening your knowledge of music. michael dudley5 StarI have to share my experience learning with Dave. I made contact looking to learn a new skill after being bought a ukulele at Christmas. Contacting Dave was the best decision I made, what a great welcome and I was playing within minutes and I haven't looked back since.I'm now on the guitar and absolutely loving it. Dave takes great care of you and has you laughing as well as learning. If your looking to start and a little nervous don't be Dave is a great teacher provides a warm welcome and is a decent bloke so try it you never know you could be playing your favourite songs within a few weeks. 5 stars easy!Saturday 2nd February 2019

millie van heeswijk5 StarDave's relaxed style coupled together with him teaching you with music you love really enables you to continue to feel motivated. It's no secret that learning to play the guitar is difficult but in this way you can connect with what you're learning to play which just adds that extra bit of love in what you're doing and really makes the time spent practicing enjoyable and worth it.
I feel motivated and positive after each weekly session with Dave and this is vital because with out this I probably would have given up by now.
His knowledge of the guitar, music in general and his ability to adapt songs in to something you can manage make lessons enjoyable and something to look forward to.
