Thai Orchid Restaurant Family run Thai Restaurant in a stonemasons’ cottage built in the 1500s serving authentic Thai cuisine. Bonnie and Thai Orchid Restaurant introduced Thai food to Exeter in 1995 and this makes us one of the longest-running, most successful eateries in this beautiful City. Our restaurant is set in a Stonemasons’ cottage built circa. 1540 and enjoys unique views over the imposing St. Peter’s Cathedral. We serve real Thai food prepared by real Thai chefs and we produce our food in-house to Thai Orchid’s own recipes perfected over the past quarter of a century. We've made it easy for our customers to place an order online. Click the order online button and select your click and collect a time slot. You can also place a pre-order by selecting the date from the drop-down. View the menu, choose your food and drinks, and pay for your order. Was recommended to go here by our hotel receptionist.....so glad we did 👍 We had not booked in advance but we're given a very warm welcome and a table was found. Service was excellent - we had set menu choice which was fantastic - full of variety and very authentic. Lovely place and will visit again if we ever have the opportunity. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Excellent food and service. I was very pleased with the starter, the presentation was beautiful and I particularly loved the fishcakes, which were made from scratch and tasted exactly like it would in Thailand, I can't say the same about many other Thai restaurants I've been to. I asked for guaydiel, which is noodle in clear soup (there's different types) but it's a very popular soup among the Thai's in Thailand, I felt like I was in Thailand again and that's what it should be about! The food was authentic (by the way, it really depends on the chef) there's nothing worse than when dishes are westernised, thank you chef/s for keeping it authentic!

A very comprehensive menu, I think there were maybe 4 or 5 pages of set menus before getting to the 4 or 5 pages of a la carte options. When it arrived the food was very, very tasty. We were given the table in the window which is a like a little, private alcove which we had to ourselves and is great if you don't want to be bothered by others (which works for me). Friendly staff and good value for money.

Wow! I’ve just ordered a delivery through deliveroo, and it is probably the nicest meal I have ever had! I’ve now got a new favourite place to eat! Highly recommend this place, not to be missed- especially the satay hed mushroom starter kebabs!! Will order again very soon- thanks.
