The pub has stood on Lindum Hill opposite the medieval Pottergate Arch for centuries and has been a thriving social venue and meeting point for at least 300 years.

The Adam & Eve prides itself on serving good food and quality drinks at reasonable prices in comfortable surroundings.

First time visiting and enjoyed it, there was a quiz night on so fairly loud and busy inside. Outside seating was available with wall mounted heaters.
