Master Inferno1 StarWelcome to possibly the worst part in St Helens and this is saying something. The place is so tired and dirty, it would be better to close and give up. Saturday night at 1m and only 10 people in the pub and Christmas, this says a lot. One positive beer reasonably priced. But if the lines are as clean as the toilets I was putting my life in my hands by drinking there.Tuesday 14th December 2021

Paul Monks3 StarSuch a shame, from the outside it looks like it could be a lovely place, and the staff are great too. It just needs a thorough cleaning, especially the men's toilets which i don't think have been cleaned for years.
I understand it's a "blokes pub", and it has a certain clientele that don't care about how clean the loos are, I just think it's a shame that the pubs potential is wasted.
Especially with it being so close to the nice restaurant afw doors up, it could easily entice more ppl if it was clean and stench free.Sunday 20th February 2022
