The Teachers are brilliant, but the headteacher makes the school rather miserable, causing education to be less fun and the students are unable to express themselves due to the strict rules (I understand the hair dye) but a nose piercing isn’t going to harm anyone sitting in class. The head teacher also refused to let yr 11s have a leavers afternoon and used the excuse of “there’s a prom” yet not every student and teacher is attending prom therefore it will not be the same. (Shirt signing is also prohibited lol)

This school is a joke!! Literally excluding children for the most pathetic reasons. My son was excluded for refusing reset (isolation for 2 days) after being 2 minutes late for lesson. When i collected him my cousins daughter was also leaving the school after being excluded for 3 days because she had juice in her bottle not water. When i went inside another child i know was also being excluded for having her phone with ( it was visible through her clothing she was not using it) All 3 were excluded for 3 days. My daughter was today excluded after she put her hand up to ask her english teacher for help. The teacher rudely told my daughter she should have listened and gave her a warning. My daughter queried this and said she just didnt understand. The teacher then sent her to reset for what the teacher called answering back, which she refused to do as she had done nothing wrong and only wanted help with her work. I am all for kids being punished when they have done wrong and have fully supported the school with punishments my children in the past but these punishments are ridiculous. Kids have missed enough education without it being added to because of stupid rules. This school is more interested in making sure your child dresses as they say, behaves as they say, uses the toilet when they say and now drinks what they say. They should be putting kids education first!

Absolute joke of a school. No safeguarding,no communication, and continued employment of a male teacher after he restrained a student by her breasts and then said that she was making a scene. What kind of education facility is this. Nottingham education needs to seriously look at the example they are setting to our youth community. Making them think that this is acceptable, and children's voices are not heard or important. Then to permanently exclude a student for sticking up for themselves after a knifecrime incident with no communication or letter ,phonecall, email, txt, to the parent. Disgusting

This school is very bad in tackling bullying, it is horrendous and the year seven head of year does nothing but jokes with the kids that do the bullying, my child has been out of this school for over a week now due to mental health from bullying, A lot of the teachers don’t listen to the SENCO reports on how to deal with a child that is under SENCO care, the new SENCO head is absolutely amazing, he’s not been there a month yet and he’s been fighting to sort these issues out and make my daughters life better but the damage is already done to my her, very damaging school
