Welcome to the Cake Cwtch, where the kettle is always on. I’m Anna and I’m responsible for the bespoke designs of wedding cakes and occasion cakes in and around Cardiff, South Wales. Established in 2013, I’ve crafted my business while bringing up my three boys – my home is full of love, full of noise and full of cake.
With attention to detail, a lot of love and delicious flavours I aim to provide cakes that will be the topic of conversation for years to come. Offering you an entirely personal service we can design the cake of your dreams – wether it be a feminine glittery cake full of sparkle and glam for a teenager on her big day, a themed cake for dad or a show stopping wedding cake which will tickle your guests’ tastebuds.

Emma Stokes5 StarAnna recently did our wedding cake, it was lemon flavour with a lemon curd filling, it was so tasty! The cake looked beautiful and tasted even better. Joe5 StarOur 3 tiered flavoured masterpiece, was being considered by other vendors as too ‘American’ and non-traditional and so, were unable to cater for our request. However, we had a vision, and Anna brought that vision to life.
Anna helped us realise our dream wedding cake from concept to reality and it has been a total pleasure to work with her from the beginning.
She is detail orientated, flexible and easy to communicate with. This combined with incredible tasting cake and a wide variety of flavours available meant we were able to create something unique and diverse for all our guests.
She gave us samples to us make decisions on key flavours and we mood-boarded and used Pinterest to help visualise what we were looking for.
Fantastic cake with amazing flavours right down to the last crumb, as feedback by our guests included “out of this world”, “incredible design” and “such a good tasty cake”. So it comes as no surprise that this made the cake a highlight of the day for us and guests.

Adam Lewis5 StarAnna made a beautiful cake for our wedding day. As it was the first time we saw it on the day (due to limited meetings caused by restrictions), we were really blown away by how great it looked. She really captured exactly what we were looking for from the initial sketch and design meeting. All of our guests commented on how unique it was as I don't think many of them had seen a cake quite like it! It also tasted delicious and the three different flavour tiers went down a real treat with everyone. I would highly recommend Anna for any cake needs you have.Tuesday 31st August 2021
