Beautifully decorated B&B. Good communication with the owner. Easy contactless key card entry. Bedroom spotless with everything you would need. Loved the added touch of a make up removal facecloth. Only a couple of things were missing, like a place to put the soap, toothpaste and toothbrush in the bathroom. It was very warm when we visited so had window open and the provided fan on. The road outside was very busy and unfortunately the fan was really noisy. So we had to make the decision of being hot or kept awake by the road. Breakfast room spotless and spacious and the food choice was great. We had a cooked breakfast that included a polish sausage. Delicious. I would definitely visit again but ask for a room at the back away from the road.

Highly recommended. I had to quickly book a room with 0 notice for 4 days, and the lady that runs the place was very accommodating and lovely. Apart from stellar customer service, the breakfast food was lovely. I had pancakes and crispy bacon so far and it was delicious. While waiting for the warm food there were plenty of "help yourself" food options. The location, while a bit more difficult to navigate without a car, is beautiful. It's rural England, so you have really pretty fields, and forests to go through. If you bring some nice walking boots you can almost certainly have some beautiful hikes around here! And last but not least the whole environment has a feeling of coziness and an aura of self care. From the nice bath robes you get provided to the lovely looking beddings and cute little soap disc. Its worth noting that this place doesn't feel like the "perfect" more corporate kind of hotel. It feels nice and cozy and human. If that's what you are looking for! All in all I recommend this place, especially if you come early for breakfast and stay around a bit to chat with the lovely lady who runs things, and I recommend you bring some hiking boots for after!

We called in for a coffee, it's a lovely place serving delicious coffee. The inside did not match the outside. The decor is beautiful. The service was exceptional.

We liked a lot. Cosy, clean hotel and lovely landlady. She is so helpful and kind. If I visit surrounding again definitely I will choose here again. And they serve very good breakfast in their cafe.

Remember when this was a pub . Feared once closed it would be lost to the village. But now reopened as tea room & rooms to stay. Great place as easy to get to & well placed if visiting the area to check out those Midsomer murders
