Pretty standard in a nice way. Service was prompt and efficient. The place was clean and spacious. I had this same meal in Stowmarket a few weeks ago and it came with coleslaw but here didn't. Really good value for money :)

Been in a few times, seems to be getting worse. Some managers are very good others don't have a clue about customer service. Some staff have an attitude. Went in the other day tried to order 3 real ales but none were on, all were advertised on the pump clip front, not a big issue but the barmaid then started getting an attitude because we were taking time. Then we got aggressively moved by the manager for standing at the bar where we shouldn't have. No signs to inform of this. Such a shame to have such a great pub, by a great brewery let down by terrible guest service and bad management (but not all the staff).

Normal Wetherspoons menu but better than normal surroundings. Clean and spacious. Friendly, helpful customer service. Preferred this one to the other local Wetherspoons, drapers arms.

I went in today for breakfast. I ordered at the bar a large breakfast and also a £1.20 refillable hot drink. Well worth the price. You just help yourself to it from the coffee machine or hot water machine if you want tea etc. Milk is provided as are sugar, sweeteners and milk substitute. The breakfast a large sized one and was made up of 2 sausages, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, mushrooms and hash browns. Beans are available on this too, but I opted out. Toast and butter included. Lovely and hot. Staff was very nice and friendly. Sandra was very polite and helpful. They have a bee menu for November coming out. Classic dishes to beat the winter blues. If like me you don't always feel like cooking, then pop in for a friendly drink or a meal. Well worth a visit. On a major bus route and taxis available situated in the town centre.

Really nice garden and very friendly member of staff collecting glasses and bringing out food. (Lady with short hair) She was also quick to move someone smoking in the wrong area which was good to see. Everything else was as you expect from a Spoons, quick, simple hot food and well price beers.
