The Crate Bosham is born from the vision of two local families. Inspired by the laid back Indonesian culture and atmosphere, we wanted to bring a taste of Bali to Bosham.
We will be serving up great coffee and fresh delicious food, prepared using ingredients from local suppliers, seven days a week.
The Crate Bosham is located in the heart of Bosham offering takeaways and outdoor seating (with cover and heating to protect you from the elements!) so you can enjoy the views and soak up the village vibes.

Jade Lloyd4 StarWe visited The Crate for the first time this morning and were really impressed. It's a really lovely little place with a fantastic menu available. The staff were very accommodating and the food and drinks were delicious at a very reasonable price. This place is super dog friendly and there is plenty of space at most tables for a pram as well. The only thing that was disappointing was the use of single use plastics. We are in but our food was served in disposable plastic bowls and take away cups.Friday 15th July 2022

Annette Horne4 StarMarvellous place to visit for takeaway food where you do have the option to sit and eat if you want. Prices reasonable and no table service provided and takeaway plates, cutlery etc only.
Felt today for the 7 of us out on a lunch break from work celebrating my daughters birthday was good but could have been better as the bar service was totally inadequate and food choices were very depleted even though we got there at 12.30. We had to send our lime and soda drinks back as undrinkable unfortunately. They were not cold, barely any ice, flat soda and tasted weird. Staff friendly though and happy to refund. Would have been nice to have had more ice all round for our drinks but perhaps it was in short supply. Felt food we ate today was of a good standard on our first lunch experience. Our cakes were amazing on our previous visit, which was our first visit, and we went with friends.
Great though that seems popular and would definitely recommend a visit. Just remember prices reasonable for a reason. All in all a positive 👍 and will be returning.Wednesday 13th July 2022

Rich Dee Bee4 StarSix of us + dog turned up today after a Google search for breakfast / brunch. Plenty of options from sandwiches to salads
and juices / smoothies. Loved the vibe here, the relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices, and tasty food. Coffee wasn’t quite strong enough for my taste and could’ve done with a few more options for gluten free (or a marked up menu / some guidance around what was possible / what to ask for). Overall though a really pleasant experience and we actually stayed longer than we thought we would. Would come back - this place is cool.Sunday 21st August 2022
