Lucy NNN5 StarThe pub is lovely, staff were really friendly and accommodating. We had meat selection, gazpacho and scallops for starters, all were really good. For main - trout, aubergine and steak. We have agreed that vegetarian option was the best- very nicely balanced and delicious. And chocolate delice was amazing, can eat it all day long😂 loved the extensive selection of gins and lots of English wines on the menu.Sunday 3rd July 2022

The staff went above and beyond even making a meal again so it was hot when someone was away from the table with their child, who was having a moment. Grant Lightbody5 StarI just popped in for a pint but stayed for a couple, mainly due to the wonderful friendly hostess. I wish more pub and restaurant personnel would put an emphasis on making people feel welcome, rather than just taking money. It makes a difference.
Anyway, this is a lovely pub, the food looked great and if I lived nearby would love to dine there for a special occasion.
The beer garden is lovely with lots of seating and a Greek style to it.

Sabine Holgado1 StarWe visited here on father's Day to celebrate my partner's first father's Day. Unfortunately we were disappointed - £26 for a roast and the roast potatoes were overcooked, Yorkshire puddings were dry and the portions were quite small for the price you pay. I paid a £40 deposit and the bill still came to £45. Only 2 of us and we only had 2 meals and 3 drinks. It's just typical pub grub but at an exceptional price. We complained about the potatoes being over cooked and hard and we showed the waitress but no money was taken off.our bill.Sunday 19th June 2022
