I would like to give a compliment to the door man of this pub, I was unable to get his name as my partner and I were to busy chatting to him. (He wears a Dai cap) we visited the area from South Wales a three hour drive. We walked and was greeted by this absolutely gem of a man. Every time we returned back to our hotel which was around the corner he again was the most friendliest gentleman I have ever met. Asked questions such as have we enjoyed the area, where we were from etc! So this email is basically a nomination for the best door man and protect him at all costs!

Definitely one of the better 'Spoons. Food was prompt and hot. Staff were friendly and the tables were cleared and cleaned quickly after customers moved on. Recommended for a decent reasonably priced meal in a nice atmosphere

Nice venue with friendly staff. Food is great value with plenty of choice. Not stunning by any means but it's a Wetherspoons so great value. Also great ales with lots of choice and loads more when they have their regular beer festivals. Love the breakfasts!

Nice pub, sometimes the tables aren't cleaned at busy times. They have good prices for food for example breakfast and hot drinks also. Food is ok not the best but not bad either. I don't drink so I can't comment about the alcohol they sell.

One of the better weatherspoons I've visited. An actual old pub with appropriately layout unlike a cinema or shop conversion. Has a SMALL beer garden unlike most spoons. I used the spoons app, food and drink arrived promptly and was of good standard.
