I had the pleasure of staying 2 nights on my own. I felt safe and looked after by all the staff I met. The wolly I am left her phone in the taxi. All the staff from night time shift into morning shift, helped me to retrieve my phone back 🙃
Oh and the food 😋 one word Yummy!
Will definitely be booking again when I visit the area again.Monday 6th December 2021

Julie Grunewald5 StarThe Eccleston Arms in St Helens is without doubt a must stay hotel. The dining area and bar are an absolute delight. Clean and very comfortable. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. The staff are amongst the friendliest we have had the pleasure to encounter. The cost of this hotel, whilst not the cheapest, in our opinion worth every penny. We had a very small issue with the windows not opening, upon informing the manager we were immediately upgraded without any questions asked. The customer service was exemplary. We would have no hesitation in recommending and/or staying here again. Well done! And thank you for a great stay!!Wednesday 20th April 2022
Black Sea4 StarHeard so many good things about here that we wanted to see for ourselves. Decided to try it today for lunch.
Warm and friendly welcome, staff were also very friendly and helpful.(
Shared some starters, the beef brisket was amazing and the homemade chicken paste and garlic mushrooms are a must. Portions are really good size too. We will definitely come again

Robert Costigan5 StarWhat a fantastic experience have been to a lot of bottomless experience in the past and I can say by far the best one out there. Usually you looking for the staff to come and fill your glasses or get the next drink in.Well not here there are the ones looking to see how far down on the drinks you are to get the next ones lined up for you. I would like take a special mention to both Sue who looked after us and the the manageress what a operation they have and also the staff both should be very proud off them.
