John Clough5 StarThis is a great pub not your upmarket one, but great staff so friendly, can't do enough for you kids welcome and friendly pets.
The food is also great not a massive menu but enough.What I like most is that it's all fresh and no microwave food .
Proberbly more of a local but excellent all round

Rebecca Lynch5 StarHad a great day at the George today. Staff very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely amaze balls. We had a lamb dinner and it was just totally delicious. Every element was perfect from the lamb right down to the swede. I don't even like swede but it was lovely and sweet. Highly recommend.Sunday 18th July 2021
