This a fantastic hall filled with lots of history. The outside is decorated with statues of famous scientists. The inside has a huge vaulted ceiling and an impressive stained glass window. You feel the history oozing from this hall and the great men and women that went before you.

The Hall itself was stunning. Food, drinks and service were very good too. I heard lots of remarks however that the entrance was very poorly sign posted (especially on a dark, rainy evening), I'd visited in the past so didn't have any trouble, but probably something worth noting and figuring out if you are attending an event here for the first time.

The Great Hall is at the Aston Webb building of the University of Birmingham. It is a big hall where graduation ceremonies, fairs and other events take place. It is quite easy to access from the Aston Webb reception as it is just directly opposite the reception. Depending on the event that is taking place, you can meet it bare or very decorated. It is a beautiful hall regardless.

Steeped in history and a sense of purpose, the Great Hall in the Aston Webb building is definitely worth seeing.
