The Hut

Ushaw Moor Action Group (UMAG) has been established to engage with the whole village community to address issues which affect us all as residents, by working together to encourage community spirit, implement improvements and promote citizen empowerment to make a difference in Ushaw Moor.

We are a registered charity, our charity number is 115 7340

Our aim is to provide spaces and opportunities for people in the community to meet together and make connections. We currently manage two community sites – The Hut and The Community Garden. There are a range of activities ran by the community and agency’s including; baby support, toddler groups, children’s activities, youth hang out space and fitness classes.

The Hut is also available to hire for parties, classes, consultations and special events. Please check availability by viewing our Calendar then submit an online booking form.
