The Lamb is a traditional coaching inn dating back to 1480, located on the square in the heart of the historic medieval village Axbridge, Somerset.

Inside, the pub boasts a charming and cosy atmosphere, with traditional beams, open fireplaces and original features, plus a dartboard, skittles alley and board games to keep you entertained.

Outside our magical rear beer garden and front terrace are perfect for al fresco drinking and dining in the warmer months, with a fire pit for colder nights.

Lovely pub. We had the veggie Sunday roast. Big plate of food (see photo) but mushroom, 5 bean and kale Wellington could have done with more evidence of mushrooms.

I visited the Lamb in Axbridge yesterday. Many times I had driven past on my way through the village and thought I should stop by one day. We visited in the early evening for a swift pint. I have to say, I really enjoyed The Lamb. The decor was lovely and the service was great aswell. One of the very few places that I have found thatchers old rascal on tap! The pub felt very homely and I would definately visit again. We loved sitting in the snug watching the fire! We'll worth a visit if you are passing!

Waiting for my partner to finish looking in the amazing King John Hunting Lodge, just across the street, I popped into this pub for a refreshing half pint. The beer was fantastic, cool, lemony and just as I like it. I was able to sit outside (still feel safer in the air) and watch the little world of Axbridge pass by. The outside seating area is small but comfy with a great aspect of the Square. The photo shows the very edge of the sitting area and St John's Hunting Lodge.

Excellent service. Ideal spot in the centre of Axbridge with a varied menu. The lamb inn burger was amazing. Really meaty, juicy and had a sweet relish which made it even better. Dog friendly and the decor was beautiful. Beams and fireplaces and rustic throughout. Well priced for a perfect evening out. Thank you
