Our terrace beer garden sits at the heart of the Weston Road action; there will never be a dull moment, wander inside to find a large but cosy interior. Great traditional features are prominent throughout the pub, from the stained glass on the ceiling to the wood panelled bar.

Gill Graham3 StarVisited here as we staying in the hotel opposite. Our first visit was good newly refurbished,landlady very friendly advised on places to go. We decided to eat there before going into town. This is where it let itself down we waited 45minutes for our order (the pub was very quiet) when this arrived it was charcoal the food was burnt to a crisp. We sent this back to the kitchen. We were offered a refund. But no offer of an alternative so a refund it was. The landlady from that point did not acknowledge us and no apology from the chef . Gary Wood3 StarI was here attending a party. The pub is clean and looks to be recently refurbished. The drinks are reasonably priced and are ok. My only issue was that I stood for some time waiting to be served (I had been aknowledged as waiting) yet the bar staff continued to serve around 5 other customers that arrived after me in the other bar. Passing me several times to do so.Thursday 28th October 2021
