Welcome to the virtual home of The Norfolk Arms in Marple Bridge. Allow me to introduce myself, Ben Harley, landlord of this establishment and have been for nine years now.  Together with my wife, Kelly, we run a traditional, family friendly 

(including dogs)

 independent pub, free of tie to any brewery, meaning we research and source the excellent products we sell ourselves.

Superb family run pub, lovely fresh home cooked meals. Huge range of drinks on tap. A real gem in the location of Marple bridge. Great walks with canal close by, cant beat getting back to the Norfolk arms for a warm by the log fire and a nice cold pint.

Great beer and food pub without being pretentious. Good range of hand pumped beers as well as usual lager. Significantly improved from the dump it was 10 years ago.

Really suffered to cope on the Bank Holiday. We waited ~1hr 20mins for food and hadn't been noticed by any staff until we asked; I could tell the table next to us had also been waiting. I do understand that it is more difficult on a busy day like a bank holiday but was disappointed to have not received any update/notice from anyone. Aside from that, the staff seemed lovely and the food was excellent. Would've stayed for dessert but given the time for food we decided not to; I'm sure it would've been good.
