Beautifully cooked food and plenty of it. A little more expensive than our usual but well worth it on the basis of quality, quantity and first class service. No complaints at all. Recommend a visit.

First visit as a family of 4 for Sunday lunch, and we were advised to pre-book. Restaurant was very busy, but the service and food was exceptional. We returned midweek, just 2 of us this time, and although we hadn't booked, managed to get a table. The restaurant was still very busy, and to me this speaks volumes ! Another delicious meal with the same friendly, polite and cheerful service from staff who are run of their feet. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Having suffered two epileptic seizures at the owl & otter I was amazed at how well the staff helped my partner and family bring me round they didn't run around like headless chickens or panic they assisted my family in helping me come round making sure I was alright. Really polite and friendly but amazingly professional nothing was a problem. And the food is truly unreal. Your not just enjoying amazing food, your in very safe hands.

We turned up at the Owl and Otter, (and it appeared not to have been arranged beforehand) Not only did they sort out an area for all of us ( approx 30 people) but also made up a finger buffet for us in no time at all. I was very impressed. Well done to all of the staff 👏 👏👏

I'd heard great things about this place from several members of my team at work, so booked up for my dad's birthday, in July...... but me and the wife decided as we were over in the area we'd treat ourselves and go last Sunday 19/6/2022, to try the place before taking my dad and family. Just as well we did! The staff were very friendly and the drinks came very fast, we made our orders, we both had beef, which we were glad of as 2 separate tables next to us returned/ complained about their pork lunches..... The food came quickly and looked really nice, but there was nothing special about it, it was just a very standard beef dinner, taste wise ....... There was nothing terrible about it but just nothing at all special in any way..... My wife said she'd rather of gone to Toby carvery and I had to agree, the taste is better at a Toby..... It was the 1st time there, but we are in no hurry to go back, even after friends at work have said they were surprised.......
