Excellent pub Grub good atmosphere. Staff are helpful and always cheerful. Never had a bad meal in here.

Service great. Friendly staff, and very efficient. Meal was delicious and great portions. So tasty we will definitely be visiting again. And great value for money.

All the staff were really friendly, stopping to chat. This pub has the best selection of draught drinks in Newport. Lots of variety, and plenty of screens for live sport.

One of Newport's better pubs. Always lively and busy. A great pub to spend a couple of hours in, and a very convenient location too.

Wonderful food here, my favourite is the breakfast, absolutely stunning and great value for money too, highly recommended and can’t wait to return.

As always when I fancy not cooking we head to the Potters. We find we can always rely on good food and service. Sunday lunch with my family this week was amazing. Plenty to eat, cooked to perfection and serving staff fantastic. Good honest home cooked tasty food.

Brief overnight business trip to Newport and had a look in trip advisor for somewhere to go. Called into The Potters and had a nice sirloin steak with a couple of glasses of merlot. Well looked after by the staff. Would definitely recommend for pub grub and a good pub atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, great food and really friendly staff. Music is great, and the heated bench on the terrace is exquisite. Genuinely don't have a bad word to say about this place!

Myself and my teen daughter popped in to the Potters for a drink and something to eat on a dreary Saturday afternoon and the friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and good food brightened up our day. Have been here before will definitely come back again.

Popped into the potters on the of chance of having Sunday lunch. Was greeted by friendly staff who said they could accommodate us. I had the beef and my husband had the pork. Wow. The meal was so tasty. Best Sunday lunch that I've had in ages. The side of cauliflower cheese was amazing! Lots of staff who were attentive and friendly. Definitely be back.
