My experience with The Property Outlet has been positive. The team have always been contactable by phone, and have responded to emails promptly. We were met by Ashton for the property viewing who was professional and helpful in answering my questions whilst also being knowledgeable of both the property and the tenancy agreements. Olivia was my main point of contact following the viewing, she was conscientious in dealing with the next stages of the process, and prompt in responding to my questions throughout. A query regarding referencing was quickly forwarded to the relevant team member and a solution provided the same day. Based on my experience so far, I can recommend The Property Outlet.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this letting agency, for a number of reasons (All quite easily avoidable). On our day of arrival the property we had rented was full of carpet off-cuts, loose floor boards, rubbish underneath the kitchen counters in addition to sawdust and the like throughout. The landlord had also left a broken standing lamp for us - It had not been adequately cleaned. When brought up to the agency we were told additional cleaning would cost us extra, and the landlord never came to collect his waste/materials. A few months in to the tenancy it had been discovered that our bathroom was not watertight. The floor had been installed and 'sealed' with an inappropriate silicon which had not dried, eventually leaking up-and-out of the floor, subsequently damaging tenant provided bathroom mats and causing further mess to the hallway. This failure to make the bathroom watertight also resulted in a black mould appearing in the kitchen below. This issue was never resolved. At the end of the tenancy there had been extra care taken to leave the property in a better state than it was provided, however despite the above issues never being resolved, The Property Outlet still wanted money out of our deposit for cleaning. Funnily enough, the black mould caused by an unsealed bathroom was in the cleaning list in addition to dust in the bathroom (They checked the property a week after we moved out) which was getting completely refurbished once we departed. I'm not sure where they got the nerve to claim cleaning against those things, but it just demonstrates the mindset of the agency. On several occasions our emails to the agency had been ignored completely. This agency is not on your side as a tenant. In any case it was a horrible experience overall, do yourself a favour and go with an agency that care about their tenants. And for the landlords - Don't cut corners, refurbish your properties to a high standard and earn the money you're charging.

It's our first time renting with The Property Outlet and the experience has been very good, we are really happy with everything. They have answer all of our enquiries making the process really easy and with no hustle. They also have great communication with the landlord, which makes everything better and clearer. Would definitely recommend.

Really happy so far with The Property Outlet, they’ve been really quick to respond and really helpful with any questions we’ve had. They’ve also been really understanding and patient with us being students, which other letting agents weren’t. Really happy with our choice of agents!
