This historic building is late 15th century and still boasts the original coaching stables, set in the historic village of Little Chart in the heart of the Kent countryside. With a lovely riverside garden, delicious home made food using only the finest local produce, specialising in traditional English cuisine. We offer a varied range of ales, beers and wines with something to suit everyone's taste.

I just had lunch here with my teenaged sons. The food is definitely plentiful and cooked very well. Good diverse menu if proper pub food to suit all budgets and tastes. The wonderful people who served us in the garden were very engaging too and advised us that the chef, who must be a rising star, is very dedicated and passionate. I genuinely wish more pubs had this food offering as the prices were fair and the food standard and portions were by no means miserly. Very well done to you all.

What an amazing pub. Been driving passed for over a year, finally stopped off. My only regret is I'd not stopped sooner! The food was fantastic and I think reasonably priced. Kids cleaned their plates which is unheard of and the staff friendly and helpful. Will I be going back? yes I will as I've heard the ribs are amazing.....

Lovely pub, lovely location with play area for the children plus a stream to sit and while away a couple of hours over a glass of beer and some lunch. Probably best to book if you want to eat. Food has been really good each time we've been.

Pretty sure all of the reviews saying they're friendly must either be their friends or regulars who get different treatment because I've never felt so unwelcome in a pub! After a few bad reviews from friends we thought we would try it for ourselves as it looks so lovely, and the place is a joke! What a pity because it's a beautiful little place. Shows what bad staff and bad management can do to a place. Obviously not in need of new customers!

Came into the Swan with my wife and elderly in-laws who have mobility issues, the staff at the swan were so accommodating and friendly and made them feel very welcome, we ordered our food choices which were excellent and ample. Lovely surroundings and location. What a treat thank you 😊
