Turned up to enjoy the festivities of the jubilee (friday) kids entertainer was great, shame the magician and face painting never happened but kids still had a good time. Food was great as usual even though it was busy food arrived before estimate etc. Bar staff were great, polite and very friendly. The Valentine has certainly come a long way over the years with high standards throughout. (Decided to edit and swap to 5 stars after being informed of how ann and her team tried to find a replacement, would be unfair to give only 4 stars based on someone outside of the pub letting them down) 👍

Myself and a couple of friends meet up for a breakfast regularly and put the world to rights,(in our minds anyway). Having been disappointed with a couple of places we normally go to, we decided to try this place. We'll no disappointment here, great breakfast at a decent price and welcomed by brilliant staff, (her name was Becka, [hope I spelt that right]). Great service and very helpful. Go on give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Looks like a lovely community pub. I only stopped for a quick pint on a little walk around the area as always passed it by car. Will be visiting again.
