Harry Hancox1 StarWhat has gone wrong here. I did their first Just Eat, some years ago , top marks. Now it is poor. Burnt , greasy chicken, chips burned too.
Probably not new management because I still love their mushy peas made the old way. I wonder if they are cooking to order to mitigate cooking costs, if so it needs reviewing.
Keeping food above fryer serves another purpose, it removes much of the oil.

Sim Dhami2 StarI stopped going here over a year ago, there is always something wrong with the order. Something is either missing, burnt, tastes horrible, greasy or the portion really just is not worth it for the price. Not what you want when you're hungry and paying for food or trying to feed the family.
They have lots of staff unnecessarily which is annoying when your food takes ages and a high staff turnover for some reason. When the drinks fridge is not working they tell you after you pay and treat it like it's your problem.
My wife went last week and ordered a large fish and chips which took forever. I went to King's which was packed and Nisa in that time which are further from our house, and got home 5mins before her. She didn't like the fish and was shocked at how small the chips portion was.
I want this shop to do well as its our local but this place is clearly a waste of time and a sure way to be disappointed.Tuesday 27th September 2022

- Greasy, kebab meat is sometimes soaked in water and gets dry, bad salad, long service time, tasteless fish. Chicken not as good too
+ Good selection, nice staff
