John Hargreaves4 StarIt's a young pub . The clientele may change but the chef remains the same . It has in my view anyway .
I popped in for the first time in years the other Saturday . The press at the bar was the same as it was in the 80s and 90s .
There is a new cocktail bar upstairs which is where us old timers headed . The drinks are good but I'm not too sure the over 21 thing is being enforced at all tbh .
We had a few drinks and enjoyed ourselves non the less , yeh I know we are old farts 😁.
Worst part of the night though was going out back to have a cigarette . I was met by would be thugs having a pop at each other on the stairs . Not pleasant .Tuesday 30th October 2018
Anthony Cox3 StarThis place rocks at weekends with young people but Lord forgive you if you are over forty when the disco starts! Suffers from a lack of real ale. Very limited in it's drinks selection and there is no food, unless one likes the "Just Eat" served up from the rear of the building!Monday 8th October 2018
chris hayward5 StarGood local pub for locals, but don't worry if you're not, it's friendly, and the people who use it are chatty.
Nice interior, just a shame that it has had to close whilst under tier 3Wednesday 28th October 2020
