OVERVIEW

We offer Elite Level Physiotherapy to everyone ranging from the general public to elite athletes. At Perform we offer a unique systematic assessment and treatment approach. We start by assessing where you hold your joints in space, known as your “postural alignment”. This gives us clues as to where you maybe placing more stress on specific joints and tissues of the body.

We will then look at how your body self organises itself to deal with dynamic movements that we will ask you to perform. We then address these issues before restoring any loss in specific joint and tissue mobility. Once your joints and tissues have movement options again to be able to move freely in space without restrictions we progress the tissues ability to be able to tolerate load in specific directions. From here we integrate how the body works in sporting and functional tasks, optimising what we term your “functional dynamic stability”, and your movement efficiency. Finally we integrate the whole movement system, allowing you to move at speed, varying loads, with “thoughtless, fearless movement” in what we refer to as “optimal full body systems communication”.
