DrLV5 StarNice atmosphere in this pub located in the middle of Edinburgh old town, along the famous Royal Mile. We were starving and very thirsty from the hike to Arthur’s Seat and we really enjoyed a pint of the locally brewed chilled lager. We obviously wanted to try the famous haggis, and we weren’t disappointed by the starter: haggis spring rolls.. quite tasty! Following we tried to of the mains: the Steak Ale Pie, also nice, and the Haggis Tower. This is absolutely fantastic! The Whiskey List is impressive and there are options for extensive tasting experience! This place is a must to go in Edinburgh!Saturday 16th April 2022

Fast service and well presented food.
Kids dinner appeared homemade fish and chips....Chunky chips as well.
Nice selection of whiskeys.
Also comfortable and clean.

Maria Chiara Venturini5 StarAll the pubs in Edinburgh will have a “live music” sign out to lure tourist in. For the the whisky bar however it turned out to be quite the understatement! I sat alone at dinner in a pretty cheery atmosphere before the music started, enjoying a great chat with the most welcoming locals and waitress. Then the music started and let me tell you, non of the others pubs could even compete! A few minutes in and every single person was clapping, dancing and singing!! I think is fair to say that it was one of the best night I had in Scotland!Tuesday 19th October 2021
