A great experience shopping here. If you like home bargains stores. B M. Stores. Etc. This is a similar business with slightly different features and variety of quality products.. I had few issues with obtaining garden arches from a few other wilko store. But I had a helpful shop assistant in my local store who rang all the local wilkos in Birmingham and i eventually had a good result as they were two arches left in Stourbridge store and they were reserved for me to collect the same day.. Very helpful staff in all wilko stores. As all staff gave good advice on obtaining the goods i could not get. Well worth a look if you like gardening or home improvement.. Great store overall..k

I feel it necessary to leave a public review due to having no outcome of my earlier complaint other than ‘if she has enough complaints then it can be escalated further’. Today my partner and I went into Wilko and purchased an item. We use this store almost daily and have done for the past year or so. I have always received rude customer service from the *women* that work here and have only received pleasant customer service from the one sole man who works at this store. I always brush off the bitterness I routinely get from these women as to be frank I am used to this kind of behaviour and do not have time to take it personally however the today was completely out of line. Firstly, there were only two staff manned tills open despite the store being very busy. The self service tills were closed which would be my usual of choice to avoid a negative interaction from staff. I was served by Margaret who despite looking rather dejected was pleasant enough when interacting with two separate men in front of me. She did however seem to be less forthcoming with the young girl directly in front of me but nothing plain out rude. When it became my turn to be served however, and despite my efforts to greet ‘hello’ and smiling as I do with staff no matter the store, Margaret didn’t even make eye contact with me once and instead picked up the lip liner I was purchasing, scanned it, and then abruptly slammed it back down on the counter next to her. She didn’t relay the price nor ask my method of payment, so I just paid with my contactless as the card reader lit up with the price. I waited to see if she would hand the receipt, but she kept on staring forward without a word so I decided to turn to head off stating i found her rude. She then THREW the receipt back at me without looking , and my partner and I in shock asked what on earth her problem was ? She pretended she didn’t have a clue and said ‘oh, did I?’ sarcastically. My partner and I are still flabbergasted and need some outcome to this disgusting behaviour!

Appalling customer services in this store upon the last visit the store assistant was to busy talking to another assistant rather then serving customers. This store needs a refresh in management and better quality focus towards customers
