Wirral Hospice’s 40th Anniversary

Throughout 2023, Wirral Hospice St John’s is celebrating forty years of hospice care and support for our Wirral community.

We will be running features on some of the people who were involved in our very early days alongside those who our part of hospice today. It’s important for us to recognise everyone’s wonderful contribution to how our hospice has evolved over the years, and how we hope to continue to evolve for the needs of our patients and those important to them for many years to come.

We have been providing FREE care for adult patients with life-limiting illnesses. We also support carers and loved ones: families are at the heart of everything we do.

Although some NHS funding is received, the majority of our income is donated by individuals, families, groups, companies and charitable trusts.

Every penny counts and helps us to make a real difference to the specialist care we provide for our patients and those important to them.
