I’ve been riding here for the past year and it’s been absolutely amazing! The staff are incredible and very welcoming. I’ve been having private lessons, hacks and semi private lessons all of which have been fab! I’ve made some fantastic friends over the past year and I couldn’t imagine riding anywhere else, the horses are beautiful and well looked after. They also have a coffee stand which serves gorgeous coffee and sweet treats. I would 100% recommend riding here.

I would recommend this riding stables 100% Been riding here for a few months and each time I visit I get a warm welcome from the fantastic staff. I learn something new each time I go, the knowledge that Ethan and Beth have is absolutely fantastic and so helpful with me trying to improve my riding. The horses are of course the stars of the show, all are amazing animals, well looked after and well schooled. Best stables around here. 🙌👍🐴🐎🏇

I cannot recommend Wythenshawe Riding School highly enough. Serena, Beth and Ethan have the perfect balance of professionalism, competence, friendliness and warmth that makes it a pleasure to learn from them. I've mostly worked with Ethan who is an absolute star. He ensures the lessons are fun and safe. Using his wisdom, knowledge of the school’s horses, and intuition he builds my confidence and helps me progress at my own pace. As an adult novice rider this is really important to me. Their beautiful horses are well looked after, respected, and very much loved. It is evident that their wellbeing is a priority, as it should be.

If you are considering horse riding lessons whatever your age the friendly and patient instructors here are wonderful; they make it a really fun and relaxed experience. My nephew also loved his pony day in the school holidays; they are great with kids. The horses are amazing and the surrounding park is beautiful.

Tried 17 times to get through to this place, at varying times and on different days - no one ever picked up the phone. Said as much to the woman working there when I turned up to try and book a riding lesson for my daughter, and was told very rudely, "Yeah, well we're busy." Foolishly, we went ahead and booked a lesson - we were told to turn up 10 minutes early today, which we did. When we arrived, the staff were sitting at a picnic bench, smoking and eating. They paid no attention to us whatsoever, until we approached a gate reading "Entry for riding lessons", at which point the yard manager turned round and yelled, "Uh, can I help you?" We told her we were there for a lesson - she looked at us for a moment, then turned her back, got out her phone and started showing pictures to her colleagues. We were not told how long we would have to wait, or offered any kind of drink, or told to sit - we were literally ignored. We waited until about two minutes to two, then got up and left. The staff watched us leave and said nothing. I doubt very much that this complaint will be taken seriously - most critical reviews seem to be met with excuses and/or accusations of lying. I would not recommend Wythenshawe Park Riding Stables to anyone. Rude, unprofessional, run-down (and no, it's not because it's a heritage site - it's because there's overgrown weeds, manure and litter all over the yard.)
